Sherri has been crocheting since she was 9 years old, inspired by both of her grandmothers who also loved to crochet. She began with simple afghans before moving on to doll clothes and eventually discovered the world of porch geese in June 2024 after her daughter asked her to make a dress for one. At the time, Sherri knew nothing about porch geese, but after taking a few measurements, she created the dress that very same day. As a thank-you, her daughter gifted her a Miles Kimball goose, which quickly became Sherri’s model and inspiration. Since then, she has been designing and selling beautiful porch goose outfits ever since! Betsy
Meet Betsy, the creator behind All Goosed Up!
Betsy learned to crochet at just 8 years old during a road trip to Norfolk, Virginia. Over the years, she has created a wide variety of crocheted items, including blankets, prayer shawls, and stuffed animals.
In 2025, Betsy discovered that porch geese were making a comeback and immediately fell in love with the hobby. She began by crocheting outfits for her great-aunt's porch goose, which had been part of the family since the late 1990s. Since then, her flock has grown to include a full-size concrete goose, a baby goose, and even a desk goose!
Betsy enjoys trying new patterns and looks forward to every new release from Knotty Girl Made It. Her creativity and attention to detail shine through in every outfit she creates.
When she isn't crocheting, Betsy works as the Activity Director at an Adult Day Center. She and her husband are also avid sports fans who enjoy following baseball, hockey, and volleyball.

Melissa Sullens Rider
Meet Melissa, the creator behind MaW’s Crafty Creations!
Melissa has been crafting and creating since 2005. As a young girl, she loved watching her grandmother crochet and always dreamed of learning herself, but she just couldn’t seem to get the hang of it.
After becoming a stay-at-home mom, Melissa explored countless creative outlets, including vinyl work, woodworking, alterations, upholstery, embroidery, laser cutting, heat transfers, quilting, and many other crafts. Despite mastering so many skills, crochet continued to elude her.
Everything changed when Melissa faced a major surgery. During her recovery, she made a promise to herself that she would finally learn to crochet. She purchased her supplies, picked up a hook, and quickly discovered she was a natural. Since then, she has created beautiful blankets, baby items, stuffed animals, and more.
In January 2026, Melissa discovered the world of Porch Geese and immediately fell in love. She found joy in designing and creating the perfect outfits that bring smiles to everyone who sees them. Today, she pours her heart and soul into every piece she makes, ensuring each creation is crafted with care and attention to detail.

Meet Lindsay, the creator behind Stitches & Twisted Threads!
Lindsay first taught herself how to crochet while searching for a creative hobby and quickly fell in love with the craft. Along the way, she has created everything from adorable plushies to handcrafted porch goose outfits. When she’s not crocheting, Lindsay works in healthcare, spends time with her husband — who she proudly calls her best friend — and stays busy raising their three children. With one child graduating high school in just a few days and two younger children at home, life is always full and exciting. Her passion for creativity and handmade work shines through in every piece she creates for Stitches & Twisted Threads.
